Through ProductCenter’sTM modular architecture, Riversand has developed an integration with Demandware’s eCommerce On-Demand Platform to deliver accurate, trusted product information to storefronts in real-time. ProductCenterTM provides a built-in integration module that allows users to submit product information to Demandware through native XML file formats over SFTP. All of the interaction between the two products is seamless to the end user. Business users utilize an intuitive, powerful user interface to create, edit and publish product information to their eCommerce websites without the need for understanding the XML file format requirements or other programmatic details.

This integrated solution ensures product data quality and synchronization between internal enterprise systems and the Demandware platform. Users can create and update product information in ProductCenterTM and either manually or automatically publish product information to Demandware. ProductCenterTM supports real-time or periodic batch updates of product information. This integrated syndication functionality enables the enterprise to ensure the information published to a website is current, accurate and available.

5. Notifications – ProductCenter may be configured to send email notifications based on stages in the process of publication to a website. This ensures that the right people know when a publication starts and finishes, and whether or not the publication is successful. This proactive management of status by ProductCenter ensures that the website is current, accurate and available with the latest, trusted product information.
